looked like a few couldn't make it alright ... and those were just the ones that contacted us to say they wouldn't be in ..

I was actually delayed an hour and a half .. I left at 7:40 with plans for being there around 8ish ... I finally arrived around 9:20 .. damn ... North Circular was completely blocked up (I would have been a lot quicker just walking) ah well I'll know for again.

Anyways ... think it was quite a good night all the same and nice to meet a few new people and to meet some of the usual suspects again :)

Thanks and greetings

It was great to meet everyone on saturday night. I had a great time and it was cool to put a few faces to names.

Thanks to blacknight for sponsorship, that was an unexpected bonus! :)

I was on my way - my beloved was giving me a lift in but we got stuck in horrendous traffic on the N3 near Blanchardstown and gave up. I was sorry to have missed out. Hope you had a good time.

Have purchased flippers, snorkel and diving mask in preparation for next meeting and potential monsoon.

That's a shame, don't think you were the only one either :)

I got stuck in mad traffic for an hour and a half yesterday so know where you're coming from :(

It was a bit of a worry swimming from my front door to the bus stop, but well worth the effort in the end to get there!
To the guys I did get a chance to talk to - thanks! It was great to hear about everyone's stories and interests.
I'm sorry I didn't get to properly meet everyone that made it though, unfortunately it looks like I won't be around for the next one in Cork.

Cheers guys, it was a great night.

Thanks..

Just want to say thanks to everyone who did show up and for those who tried and couldn't make it for obvious reasons, thanks for trying.

A big thanks to Blacknight for the sponsored drinks - very appreciated.

Hopefully we can get a good turn out for Cork in October.

Looking forward to it.

How would others feel about a 30-60 second "around the table" ABOUT-YOU presentation.

This is each persons opportunity to tell everyone at the get together all about their business, the kind of leads they are looking for, and anything at all that will help the other members generate business for them. (Also pass around your business cards!)

Otherwise it ends up being a meeting where you come home after just speaking with one person and although others were there you haven't a clue who they were or how you can help one another's businesses.

Would that freak people out? I know some people don't like presentations that's why 30-60 secs may be a better approach.

Regards

Jamie
