Antivirus for laptop?

What do you think, if a laptop is used only for surfing in the Internet, need an additional antivirus? Or enough browser extensions?

If it's a computer it needs an anti-virus. There are plenty to choose from, but you definitely need one

What can you say about Avast?
It seems to be a popular enough choice
We are using Eset in the business, which is fine
I was using Intego in the past, as they have a good version for OSX
Ultimately as long as it updates regularly enough and doesn't cause you massive headaches there probably isn't a massive difference between most of them
I know I personally didn't like some of the Windows ones back when I had a Windows desktop as the software got very bloated with lots of extra features that I didn't really want or need.
