Recently, an adwords campaign I have running started to decrease in performance, due mainly I believe to the arrival on the scene of a new company, who are always occupying top spot for certain keywords. Thing is, when we try increasing the bid and the budget we still can't get #1, even when the bid is set to an obscene amount! We rank well in the organic result but want to maintain a good performaing adwords campaign.
In order to gain insight into our competitors in adwords I started to use the Auction Insights for certain keywords. This gives a good insight into most competitors, but, for some reason our main competitor, who is always #1 is not listing in the list of competitors. Does anyone have any idea why this might be?
