How is WordPress redirecting/rewriting my URL?

hi guyz,

i'm running a wordpress free classified website and the address is http://www.gosell.co.uk what i need is if a user from london open this url then it should be concatenated withgosell.co.uk or http://london.gosell.co.uk is that possible? shall i make a new function or wat?

How do you plan on detecting that they're from London?

london is just for an example. what i want is to redirect user to city wise like city redirect. u know i mean. like http://www.gosell.co.uk/city ir http://city.gosell.co.uk

Ok, but you still haven't said how you plan on detecting where the user is from .. Do you want to try and do it automatically based on their IP address, a preference or something else? Or do you want to let the user choose manually?

sorry for been late but No i ll detect em with the help of IP addresses.

Then you'd probably use some kind of array to send them to different subdomains or sub-directories ..

Well your site isn't loading for me at the moment. You could use the maxmind javascript to pull the visitor's city and then redirect them to thatcity.gosell.co.uk.
Not sure how you'd handle the content for each particular city, but thats probably how I would do it in a quick fashion. The thing CL does for geo-location and all that would take quite a bit more time and custom coding, and since you're using a WP classified system I assume you don't want to spend thousands to build out complicated functionality, so hopefully the maxmind suggestion will work for you.
