IEDR application expiry dates

I've just noticed that a recent application might not be going through, by someone else, and I was wondering when it say it will expire on July 15th, is that the end of that date, 1 minute after 15th ends or 1 minute after July 14th ends.

I know I'm getting my hopes up on a domain, but still it would be great to know how these things go.

It doesn't work quite like that
They tend to purge the requests from their systems that day or the following day around the same time as a zone reload

Thanks for that. Of course the IEDR does things a little bit quirky !

TBH most domain registries tend to drop domains out of their databases at slightly random times to avoid getting slammed by domainers

But I guess if it says 15 July 2012 it should drop sometime on or before 15 July 2012... anyway will report back once it drops.

Just as an FYI, it fell out of the registration holding period at around 11:15 am on the date that was specified as to when it expires on.

Yes. Application filled, accepted by IEDR, now just waiting for the next reload in about 1/2 an hour.
