Just as an aside.... What do you think is the best way to get people to link to your blog ?

Well there really is ony one way...interact by posting comments on his/her blog and link to his/her blog.If he/she doesn't link back then there is no harm in poping them over an email and asking for the link. Bloggers thrive on linkage so i doubt very much you'll encounter many negative answers.
