Looking for a bulk SMS service

Hello,
we are doing a site for a charity which organises events and want to send all participants a text message to remind them a few days before. They would pay for the text themselves so this is not a subscription system.
At first we are taking a couple hundred of number to send to but this could escalate quickly to 1000's.
It can either be integrated within our system online or used via an interface where we would provide a CSV file with the numbers of other....

Any suggestions appreciated.

I haven't used any of the ones mentioned above but I've used Twilio SMS - Build SMS Text Messaging Into Your Web Apps | Twilio They are pretty big
