Magento Custom Options horror!

Hi guys

Ive created a custom options template in magento and when the client added her 300+ products this template was added to each. However now she wants to remove one of the options. Ive updated the template in 'Catalog-Manage Options Template' but now it looks like I will need to go in to each product & update the template in each one!

Pease tell me there is an easier way..

Just export the products, through the admin panel, make changes in spread sheet and import changes. System>Import/Export>Profiles. Choose export products, map the fields you need website, sku and the custom design field...Run profile. Ftp in go to var/export download you export_products.csv make change. Then create a new import profile map the fields you need again. upload update export_products.csv file to /var/import and Run Profile ->> other recommendation, switch off magento cache, make sure php has enough memory, increase bucket size to say 100 rather than just 1.
