A client of mine wants a french and english version of their site. It currently is in english using joomla as the CMS (not developed by me).
From the outset they have said that instead of www.site.com/en and www.site.com/fr they want to have 2 different domain names i.e. www.site.com and www.leSite.com. My problem is keeping the content synchronised between the 2 sites (updated numerous time each day) and I think that from a branding point of view what they want is a bad idea. Has anyone had any experience in developing multilingual sites and how what approach you have adopted.
