no audio device

Hi All

Have no idea what I have done but I am now with audio device on my computer - is there any way I can get this back without too much trouble -

I downloaded real player and it didnt install properly so I uninstalled it and re installed it and thats when I noticed the audio icon was missing from taskbar. and on receiving email to tell me someone had replied to my query here - when I clicked on link to take me to it - a mess came up saying 'this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions........' related maybe. I am using XP

Hmm do you have the website you downloaded Real Player from, if not the official site, sounds like there could be trouble...

Sorry for the delay.

All seems to be fine with the downloads, try to find out the soundcard and install a device update, your computer manufacturer should have updates on their website
