Using Trademarks in Domain Names

Hi Everybody,

Can anybody put me right about the law concerning using a company's name in your domain. Like below.

I don't know if these names exist. Just examples

PhillipsTVreviews.com

BuyToshiba-Satellite-L350-20G-17-inch-Laptop.com

I am not after these names but you get the idea.

They're best avoided.

If you stick with more generic terms you'd be fine, but if you use brand names you can end up in a world of pain unless you can show "fair use"

It depends on the Trademark whether its generic or not, but I agree if possible avoid them.
