I'm not sure how many of you do your own linking, hopefully plenty as paying someone to do it can lead to some bad linking experiences, especially when outsourced to companies in countries that begin with a capital I and are in Asia. I've grown weary of one particular technique, so today I blogged on it at Web Design Ireland | Internet Marketing | Search Engine Optimisation | Web Development Ireland | Blog

I don't usually promote my blog entries on here, and it's not something I intend to do much in the future. I have 2 reasons for doing so today, the first is that I'd like to warn webmasters and site owners about this potentially damaging technique, and I doubt that many people actually read my blog; the second is that I'd like to hear what others think and perhaps get a discussion going - and as not many people read my blog, etc. etc.

Of course, I'd be mightily chuffed to see a comment on my blog that wasn't ****ing spam, but that's neither here nor there.
